How much do you charge?
Individual prices vary and are customized to a person’s specific situation. Our standard minimum monthly bookkeeping fee is $125. Our bookkeeping service prices will fluctuate above that based on $40/ hour. Please visit our shop or services page for more details some of our pricing. In order to give you an accurate price, you will need a consultation.

Do you send out paychecks?
As of this moment we currently run payroll through a third-party service called Gusto. We hope to be able to offer more in depth payroll services on our own in the future. If you are in need of paper checks instead of direct deposits, they would be calculated and sent through the Gusto program.

Do you use other bookkeeping software?
We have the most experience with QuickBooks Online, but have also used Xero in the past. Out of the 2, we prefer to use QuickBooks Online. We have also used Excel Spreadsheets and Google Sheets. Our preference is to use an accounting software over Google Sheets or Excel. If you are interested in a different software, let us know.

Do you do taxes?
We will assist with filing Maine sales tax, but are not able to offer assistance with any payroll taxes at this time outside of Gusto. We are excited to be able to offer individual tax preparation for the upcoming tax season (January 2026) but are not at this time offering tax preparation services for any other tax returns.
