  • How much do you charge?

    Individual prices vary and are customized to a person’s specific situation. Our standard minimum monthly bookkeeping fee is $125. Our bookkeeping service prices will fluctuate above that based on $40/ hour. In order to give you an accurate price, please go to the Contact page to schedule a consultation.

  • Do you send out paychecks?

    For our full-service payroll clients, we use a program called Gusto which will send out a paycheck to your employees. For clients who wish for us to just provide calculations, we will provide only the documentation required for the running of payroll. For those clients, we will not ask for any money outside of our service fees and will not send payments to tax entities nor to your employees.

  • Do you use other bookkeeping software?

    We have the most experience with QuickBooks Online, but have also used Xero in the past. Out of the 2, we prefer to use QuickBooks Online. We have also used Excel Spreadsheets and Google Sheets. Our preference is to use an accounting software over Google Sheets or Excel. If you are interested in a different software, let us know.

  • Do you do taxes?

    We will assist with filing Maine sales tax, but are not able to offer assistance with any payroll taxes at this time outside of Gusto. Starting in January 2026, we now provide income tax return preparation services for federal and state returns.
